Red Impression is a Darwin Hybrid tulip, a cross between a Single Late and an Early Fosteriana tulip, and it shows in every part of the plant: oversized, dark ruby-red flower heads held on thick, strong stems that reach about 22 inches. It blooms in mid spring, right when the garden needs color most.

Darwin Hybrids are the tulips gardeners plant when they want more than one season out of them. Red Impression is a favorite for perennializing and is one of the most weather-resistant garden tulips available, shrugging off spring wind and rain that flatten lesser varieties. I was looking online for a porch peach tree and found one on Family Grown Trees. I’ve never ordered a tree online but decided to try it. It shipped straight to my door in 4 days and was packaged nicely.

Stopped on our way home from Hells Canyon. Though it was at the end of their growing season, they still had nice plants a good selection. The gentlemen who helped us was friendly and helped us load everything into the truck 🚚! Including my big pot of 🪴🌿plants!!

I make my way from Meridian a few times a year for their plants. No one beats their selection and quality. The locally owned-Idaho native family environment is easy to want to support. The flower baskets are a highlight of my summer! They last well into the fall and have a vast variety of fun and creative looks!

Country Flower Nursery always has a great selection of trees, bushes, and plants, have never been disappointed. They are also about the only plant nursery around this area (not counting the big box stores that have garden departments). The staff here knows their plants well and are friendly to work with. Bought these flowers and some HUGE tomato plants. The people there are so sweet and helpful and all their plants are healthy and gorgeous! You'll have a hard time choosing because their variety is incredible.

This place is amazing. Under new ownership this spring. Three huge greenhouses stuffed to the max with gorgeous healthy plants. The biggest and best selection of hanging baskets I have ever seen. We stopped at Zamzow's first and were very disappointed by the meager selection.

We have 6 large pots leading to our front door and we bought amazing flowers to fill them. The only place I have ever been that is semi comparable is Edwards in Boise. It is well worth the drive to the Fruitland exit to buy your plants and trees. Huge selection of EVERYTHING.

Last year bought our stuff at Fred Meyer, but it can't hold a candle to this selection, quality and price. I strongly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for the best quality and value.

I found out about this place because they were clearing out inventory due to a lack of staff to care for it; but I will come back in future years because of the quality I found. The flowers are beautiful and the people are friendly and helpful. It is about a 30 minute drive from where I live, but it will be well worth it when I am trying to fill out my gardens each spring.
