Carefully Selected, Expertly Vetted.

Got questions about ordering live plants online? You're not alone — here's everything we get asked most, answered honestly by the people who grow and ship your order.

Ordering & Shipping

Do you ship live plants?

Yes. Every plant we ship is alive, healthy, and carefully packaged specifically for transit. We ship to the lower 48 states only — we do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally, since live plants need to arrive quickly and safely.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders ship within 3-5 business days of being placed and arrive within 5-10 business days depending on your location. Live plants are shipped using methods chosen specifically for their size and fragility — smaller plants typically move faster, while larger trees may take a bit longer to arrange.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated based on your order total. Rates range from $19.99 for smaller orders up to $59.99 for larger ones. You'll see the exact rate at checkout before you pay anything.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow your plants on their way to you.

Is there a best time of year to order?

Spring and fall are generally the best planting windows in most climates, but we ship plants suited to the season whenever possible. If timing is ever a concern for your specific zone, reach out before ordering and we're happy to advise.

Plant Health & Zones

How do I know if a plant will survive in my area?

Every product page lists the USDA hardiness zones that plant can survive in year-round. Enter your zip code using the zone finder in our header and we'll flag anything that might struggle in your climate before you check out.

What if I order a plant that's not rated for my zone?

We'll show you a warning before you complete that purchase. Some customers still choose to buy plants outside their rated zone — for containers, sheltered spots, or as annuals — and that's completely your call. We just want you to have the full picture first.

My plant arrived and doesn't look great. What do I do?

Contact us right away with a photo of the plant and your order number. Some leaf drop or minor stress during shipping is normal and plants typically recover once planted, but if something looks seriously wrong we want to know immediately so we can make it right.

How do I care for my plant once it arrives?

Unpack and water your plant as soon as possible after arrival. Specific care instructions vary by plant type — check the product description for guidance, or contact us and we'll walk you through it.

Where Our Plants Come From

Do you grow everything yourselves?

We seed and grow all of our own vegetable starts and annual flowers right here on our farm in Fruitland, Idaho. For trees and shrubs, we grow what we can ourselves and source the rest from a trusted network of high-end, prestigious family-run farms who share our standards. Every variety we carry is carefully selected and expertly vetted by us.

Are your plants treated with anything I should know about?

If you have specific concerns about a plant's growing practices, reach out before ordering and we'll give you a straight answer for that variety.

Orders & Returns

Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?

Contact us as soon as possible. If your order hasn't shipped yet, we can usually make changes or cancel it. Once it's shipped, live plants can't be rerouted, so timing matters.

What's your return policy?

Because we're shipping living plants, returns work differently than typical retail products. See our full Refund Policy for the details, or contact us directly if something went wrong with your order — we'll work with you to find a fair solution.

Do you offer any kind of guarantee?

We stand behind what we ship. If a plant arrives in poor condition due to shipping issues, contact us with photos and your order number within a few days of delivery so we can take care of it.
