Cinnamon Fern: The Woodland Wonder for Your Garden

The Cinnamon Fern brings a touch of the wild forest to your garden with its graceful, feathery fronds. This shade-loving beauty thrives in moist, woodland settings, making it perfect for those tricky spots where other plants struggle.

Why You'll Love the Cinnamon Fern:

Unique Appearance: Known for its striking cinnamon-colored fronds that rise like spires above the green foliage in early spring. These fronds are the show-stoppers that give this fern its name!
Low Maintenance: Once established, Cinnamon Fern is easy to care for, needing little beyond consistent moisture. It's a resilient, native plant that can handle wet soils, even thriving in rain gardens.
Wildlife Friendly: This fern provides shelter for small woodland creatures and attracts beneficial insects, adding life to your landscape.
Natural Elegance: With its bold texture and upright habit, Cinnamon Fern makes a statement in shady borders, woodland gardens, or as a natural backdrop near water features.

Growing Tips:

Plant Cinnamon Fern in part to full shade, with plenty of moisture for the happiest ferns. It's perfect for naturalizing in damp areas or alongside ponds and streams. Looking for indoor greenery? You can also grow it as a houseplant, provided you mimic its love for humidity and keep it consistently moist.

Bring the serene beauty of the forest floor to your garden with the timeless charm of Cinnamon Fern.

Cinnamon Fern $49.95

I was looking online for a porch peach tree and found one on Family Grown Trees. I’ve never ordered a tree online but decided to try it. It shipped straight to my door in 4 days and was packaged nicely.

Stopped on our way home from Hells Canyon. Though it was at the end of their growing season, they still had nice plants a good selection. The gentlemen who helped us was friendly and helped us load everything into the truck 🚚! Including my big pot of 🪴🌿plants!!

Love a family business that knowdgeable, has great follow-up and is a connector to another small business.

Great website and product!! we are anxious to order again

Amazing quality! My plants showed up on time and are looking great. Now it time to plant and enjoy the fruits of labor.

I’ve ordered many trees and plants online, with fingers crossed that they will show up well. This was one of the best, thoughtfully packaged tree or plant I’ve received. Not to mention the health of the tree! I couldn’t be more excited! The plant people out there will get it 🌿🙏

Found Family Grown Trees online and ordered this key lime tree. I was super impressed with the shipping time.

Lovely, helpful employees! So many plants. I got an excellent deal on hanging baskets and i will be back! 😍🧡

OUTSTANDING!! 10 OUT OF 10. Forget what you know about a well run nursery, this place changes the rules. Knowledge, customer service, polite accommodating people. The owners are involved, and lead a fantastic team of hard working careing staff. You have a question, they have the answer. Do you like original, well done arrangements that will compliment the most particular patron? They have several options. Do you like original art? Welcoming environment? Knowledgeable staff? Easy accommodating shopping for your horticulture needs? They have all that and more. Will be back again and again. Stop in, see what you are missing. Flowers, trees, vegetables, custom arrangements, the list is long. This is not a paid review nor was this review solicited. People just need to know. Its that good.

I make my way from Meridian a few times a year for their plants. No one beats their selection and quality. The locally owned-Idaho native family environment is easy to want to support. The flower baskets are a highlight of my summer! They last well into the fall and have a vast variety of fun and creative looks!

Super helpful and great knowledge.
Drew was fantastic he delivered our trees and was very helpful in getting them in and answering any questions we had.

Inbound truck delivering here. Call ahead, they will help guide you in and clear room for you to park. Friendly and easy to work with, and went above and beyond what most places do when it comes to leaving little trace of the load in my trailer (drivers running floral loads know exactly how rare this is!!! ). Would work with them again in a heartbeat!

Good selection for end of season. Great prices!

Country Flower Nursery always has a great selection of trees, bushes, and plants, have never been disappointed. They are also about the only plant nursery around this area (not counting the big box stores that have garden departments). The staff here knows their plants well and are friendly to work with. I'll definitely be back!

Bought these flowers and some HUGE tomato plants. The people there are so sweet and helpful and all their plants are healthy and gorgeous! You'll have a hard time choosing because their variety is incredible.

Staff are informed and eager to assist. Amazing available product. Go visit this place! You will be glad you did.

Very nice selection of trees. Staff were helpful and even helped me load my purchase.

Always helpful

Bought a bunch of fruit trees from them and a small number of them didn’t make it through the winter but they took care of it fairly for us. Make sure and purchase the warranty!

Good place to go great selection of plants that are healthy

Definitely need to check this place out.

This place is amazing. Under new ownership this spring. Three huge greenhouses stuffed to the max with gorgeous healthy plants. The biggest and best selection of hanging baskets I have ever seen. We stopped at Zamzow's first and were very disappointed by the meager selection.

We have 6 large pots leading to our front door and we bought amazing flowers to fill them. The only place I have ever been that is semi comparable is Edwards in Boise. It is well worth the drive to the Fruitland exit to buy your plants and trees. Huge selection of EVERYTHING.

Last year bought our stuff at Fred Meyer, but it can't hold a candle to this selection, quality and price. I strongly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for the best quality and value.

Lots of parking and not overcrowded for easy shopping. Great employees. Very helpful!

Love this place. Worth the drive! So many beautiful flowers! Staff is amazing! Very helpful and knowledgeable.

Thank you for all your help Roger and staff. You have beautiful trees. We planted them today.

From mid March to mothers day they make the most GORGEOUS hanging flower baskets. Such variety and beauty. Pick one up for mom or your spouse.

My favorite store!

Great selection and good pricing. Friendly help.

Normally, early spring plants a bit spendy but great plants. Lots of Varieties!

Now: Good 1/2 price sale on flowers, veggies. Also made up baskets on sale, which good since they are a bit neglected.

Most all of the gals are real friendly & helpful...just a few, not so.

Tree's & Shrubs - Not on sale.

I found out about this place because they were clearing out inventory due to a lack of staff to care for it; but I will come back in future years because of the quality I found. The flowers are beautiful and the people are friendly and helpful. It is about a 30 minute drive from where I live, but it will be well worth it when I am trying to fill out my gardens each spring.

Great flowers and good prices 👌 👍

Great selection healthy plants and reasonable prices. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
