Big Apricot Blooms on Stems Strong Enough for the Landscape
Apricot Pride is a Darwin Hybrid tulip bred for size and staying power. Each bulb sends up a single orange-pink flower up to 5 inches tall on a sturdy 22-inch stem that shrugs off spring wind and rain, so your beds still look sharp after a storm.
A sport of the Darwin Hybrid 'Ollioules', Apricot Pride blooms mid to late spring in full sun to partial shade and perennializes well in well-drained soil, coming back for repeat displays instead of fading after one season. Plant them in drifts along a walkway, mix them into perennial borders, or tuck a dozen into a large container for a portable spring show on the porch.
Why You'll Love the Apricot Pride Darwin Hybrid Tulip
- Large 5-inch flowers in a warm orange-pink that reads brightly from across the yard
- Strong 22-inch stems stand tall in the landscape and make excellent long-lasting cut flowers
- Perennializes in well-drained beds, so you get displays year after year
- Hardy in zones 3-8 and cold-tolerant enough for northern gardens
- Easy container option for patios, entryways, and small-space gardens
Plant these bulbs in fall and let spring deliver the payoff.
